profit of destiny
The things we say spoken from the well of our hearts come to pass. Proverbs 4:23 states “keep thy heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.” I am amazed that born again, spirit filled believers can say anything contrary to their natureas we serve the one who has another kingdom built on different principles. My nature is one of life. I have been born of the Spirit of God, born of water and the Spirit (John 3:5). My nature is that of heaven. I came from God. I am His Seed. I cannot help but think like my father, talk like my father, walk like my father.

A child can’t help but act like his parent. He has features of his parents and sometimes even some mannerisms of his parents. This is normal. The way a child receives mannerisms of his parents is due to the fact that the child spends time with his parents. The only way we receive or act out the mannerisms of our heavenly father is through spending time with Him. This is done through the constantly looking into the Word.

A friend once said it’s not God’s goal for us to read the Bible from cover to cover; it’s His goal for us to become the Word. As Jesus was the Word that became flesh; we should become the Word in flesh; just like Jesus. In other words we become like our father with the mannerisms of love, power and soundness.

So I say to all believers, “LET’S START ACTING LIKE OUR FATHER AND OUR SAVIOR AND BROTHER, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.” Let’s pick up His mannerisms. Let’s speak and prophesy from the well of salvation!
